Tanganyika Wildlife Park is seeking mature individuals with Leadership qualities to care for exotic animals in our Hoofstock, Primate, and Educational/Kangaroo areas. We are wanting individuals who are willing to commit to the care of these animals long term and truly get to know their patterns, behaviors, and social structures. Individuals who are self motivated and understand USDA standards are a must. We are a very fast pace working environment known for our interactive areas. Duties must be done with detail and efficiency, animals cared for with 110% of your ability, and customers here must go away with a positive experience that they remember for a long time to help build lasting impressions on why these animals need conservation for future generations to come.

Education and Pre-requisites

A degree in a Biological Science or working toward one is preferred but not mandatory.
If you have a degree then you must have multiple internships in zoos or exotic animal care. Ranch and farm experience also counts.
First time job applicants only looking to land a job for more experience need not apply.

Compensation and benefits

Pay will be based on experience.
